Things could be getting better, but I'm not going to say yet incase I jinx it, or I am wrong. But I am happier, but in continued effort, I decided to share a few things with you. First of all, after a few requests by non-Finns, I will offer translations of my entry titles. I apologise to Finns if my actual Finnish, or my translation butchers/kills your language. Also I have posted some very random pictures. They are screencaps from Skins (an English teen-drama that although has no relevance to my life, I really enjoy!), I watched it (after buying the DVD today (hey!)), and this summer episode really warmed me. I haven't picked these pictures just because they are summery, but also because they make me feel warm inside: friendship, the sun, clouds, life. These pictures probably aren't even that special to anyone else, but I want to share them with you, because right now they are making me smile. And smiling is very important.
Haluaisitko tansia?- Do you want to dance?
Tunteet Metsästä - Forest Feelings (Feelings from the forest)
Ilotulituksen Alla, ja Aaltojen Peli - Under the fireworks and the play of the waves (Jeux des Vagues)
Tulipalon Lintu on Lumotussa Puutarhassa - The Firebird is in the Enchanted Garden
Ystävä on Yksi Sielu Kolmella Ruumiilla- A friend is one souls in three bodies
Minä otin puraisun taivasta, ja se oli sokerinen - I took a bite of the sky, and it tasted sugary
Revin perseesi irti ja syötän sen sinulle - I will tear off your arse and feed it you
Ne murskasivat ruusun, kun minä halusin haistella sitä - They crushed the rose, when [all] I wanted [was] to smell it
Kun aurinko paistaa, taivas avautuu laulujen kanssa - When the sun shines, the skies open up with song
And my personal favourite, even if that sounds bigheaded:
Sinä päivänä aurinko paistoi niin kauniisti että sydäntä särkee - On that day, the sun shone so beautifully that your heart aches
And a Turkish one:
Edebiyen bizim arkadaşlığımız parlayacak - Our friendship will shine forever

Well, the translations are there. I'll carry on posting in Finnish, but leave it a while before I tell people what I am writing.
*hugs back* Thanks, everything should be much MUCH better from now with a bit of luck. :)
The only thing that annoys me about him (both character and actor) is that everyone likes him... which puts me off!
I've always been like that: any kind of mass-attraction towards anything, be it a car or an item of clothing, even something as geeky as a typeface on a computer (Comic Sans - yuck!), then I feel completely uninterested.
It's a similar thing with Zac Efron, whom taciturnsilence mentioned: he's too... I dunno... "plastic"... like Barbie ought to be his sister. (Hence why I hate High School Musical too!)
*miserable git*
:D
I, too, abhorr comic sans.
You are totally NOT a freak for having cloud, sun, and forest obsessions. Especially clouds and forests. I grew up in a forest, and I have 'secret spots' all throughout the forest around my house. There's a lot of forest in Michigan, especially Northern and Upper Michigan. I'm definitely lucky I grew up here. I love just taking walks through the forest with no real destination. And clouds are always lovely. I haven't had a chance to go outside with someone and just cloud watch in ages. And star gazing. Ahh... nostalgia.
I hope things are truly getting better. *crosses fingers*
Also, thanks for the translations. I was having a friend translate them for me, but she's out of the country at the moment, and so I haven't gotten any translations in a while. :] Tschüß!!

I hope your friend who was translating didn't think i was bitchering her language. And the forest thing... Theres just something so serene, and ethereal about forests I find. A walk in a forest now would make all my problems go away. :)
And it's not her first language. She was born and raised here in the UP (with a huge Finnish ancestry [be jealous!!]), but she's currently learning it. I laughed when you made that comment a while back about "the partitive making you want to shove bamboo under your fingernails." Earlier that day, she had explained to me some of the uses of the case (like finite plurals and ordering things like beer and water at a bar). She laughed even harder when I showed her that comment. Anyway, she had to have a Finnish community help her with some of it, but overall, she understood what you were writing. ^_^
Er, kind of. Channel 4 does the whole of GB(England, Wales and Scotland), but Wales have a second Channel 4 S4C (Sianel Pedwar Ech (Cymru) - Channel 4 Wales.

People make mistakes, you'll be ok. Just remember you don't do it often, and that you still know how to use an apostrophe correctly. You'll live.
That was a cute little freak out. :]
And I think you know what I mean :)
And... I may or may not know what you mean, but I'm going to keep being/playing innocent.
Ehdoton suosikkini: Minä otin puraisun taivasta, ja se oli sokerinen
When I watched those pics, 60s or 70s came to my mind D
And thank you, that is a very big compliment from a Finn :)
:S
Either that, or I'm scared of getting hooked on it, which is why I don't watch Lost (but absolutely loved Ashes to Ashes!)
